During the construction of an Arooga’s Grille House & Sports Bar at the Mohegan Sun tribal casino, the contractors working on the project succeeded in logging over 20,000 work hours without a loss time injury; this remarkable achievement was recognized by the Mohegan Tribe Safety Department of Regulations and Compliance, which awarded all contractors that worked on the project with the Mohegan Tribal Government Safety Award, for work completed between August 2014 and March 2015 without incident.
