Rebuilding Together Hartford Serves Those Who Have Served
Art Dias of Eagle Rivet, along with his family, has long been proud to participate in Rebuilding Together Hartford, a nonprofit organization that helps low-income, elderly or disabled residents of Hartford maintain and repair their homes.
Each year, Rebuilding Together Hartford organizes a one-day volunteer event, during which thousands of volunteers of all skill levels come together to clean gutters, repaint peeling homes, replace smoke detectors, caulk, weatherize and conduct many other kinds of basic and advanced repair work.
His experience with roofing has made Art a valuable contributor to this effort; in 2014, Eagle Rivet has replaced six roofs for Rebuilding Together, and Art has led one of the teams that performed roofing and other repairs on the home of a local Veteran.
